SHOP INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

    Shop Inventory Management empowers users to organize all of their assets, from small everyday tools, to large permanently fixed equipment in one digital location. With all assets in one inventory list, programs and schedules can be created for individual or large groups of assets to track and document; maintenance schedules, yearly checks, calibration certifications, safety inspections, or any type of unique program set up by the User. Each item is identified by a unique QR code that can be affixed to the item itself or its location. Any portable device with internet access and a QR reader program installed ( available as a free download ) can scan the QR and instantly retrieve all of the information stored about that item, including photos, service records, last date of service or inspection and important contact information. 

Users can also "check out" assets instantly by scanning a QR and selecting the check out button.  This action will be date and time stamped with the Users login information. Other Users are then able to scan a QR code and see who currently has an asset checked out, thereby saving time looking for an asset.

FEATURES

 S.I.M. gives businesses the ability to set up Users with different levels of access to the program. Administrators will be emailed notifications when actions have taken place either daily, weekly or on a User defined basis. Once schedules and programs are in place, administrators will receive emails alerting them of upcoming, current or past due events. From these emails, administrators can accept responsibility for the action and this will time stamp the acknowledged event. Once the maintenance, inspection or User selected event has been performed, the User can mark completed and the event becomes archived allowing for full track-ability and accountability for all scheduled programs.   

    Individual assets can be tagged and marked as "checked out" by all program Users. Program and schedule editing can only be performed by higher level Users. Full reporting of all asset history can be performed, from asset check out, to time out of service history, allowing asset value and profitability to be tracked.
